King Tut's tomb is located in a place called the Valley of the Kings in modern-day Luxor, Egypt. It is just west of the Nile River. The Valley of the Kings is home to the tombs of the pharaohs who ruled from the eighteenth to twentieth dynasties. Among the pharaohs buried there is Akhenaten, Horemheb, and of course Tutankhamun.
